I know the show
I'm from Canada too. I don't think I could handle that. My husband is the only child so he is a mommy's boy also. I hate them they act differently when mommy shows up.

I LOVE IT
I FORTUNATELY DON'T HAVE THE MOM IN LAW PROBLEM ANY MORE-AND I NEVER HAD KIDS WITH MY HUSBAND-BUT I DO HAVE KIDS NOW-BUT HE CURED ME OF THE URGE TO EVER MARRY AGAIN AND THANKFULLY I GET ALONG WELL WITH MY OTHER EXES . BUT I HAD A PAIN IN THE ASS , TOO. SHE HAD A VOICE LIKE GRANNY FROM THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES-BEING FROM CANADA I'M NOT SURE YOU KNOW THE SHOW---BUT THE GRANNY HAD A GRATING SHRILL VOICE AND MY MOTHER IN LAW WAS AS OLD AS MY GRANDMOTHER. ALL SHE EVER DID WAS BITCH ABOUT EVRYTHING AND ENDLESSLY.. NOTHING WAS EVER RIGHT AND WHAT A MARTYR.  AND MY HUSBAND WAS A MOMMAS BOY EVEN THO HE WAS IN HIS 30'S--I WAS 19.  HE NEEDED SOMEONE TO DO EVERYTHING FOR HIM--MY FRIENDS USED TO ASK MY IF I HAD TO WIPE HIS ASS TOO!!   I THEN NAMED HIM   "THE CRIPPLE".     AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENT.

My favorite Prayer
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change and the wisdom to know where to hide the bodies when I can't!

Hi, 8ball,
Now that does sound like sweet revenge.  And you had nothing to do with it.  God works in mysterious ways.  He doesn't need our help, but he certainly knows what we need.  As for looking forward to being a grandma, I think that's great.  My mom, though she still drives me nuts, is a gifted grandmother.  I think it was her calling.  She was born to be a grandma.  Glad to read more of your stories.  Thanks.  :)
