I think we need to look at both sides of the coin (pardon the pun). What about the employers who hire the illegals? They have a stake in this too - a huge stake. Their profits diminish with every legal worker they hire to replace an illegal worker. There is a book you might already be familiar with called The Fair Tax Book, written by John Linder and Neal Boortz. It's now out in paperback for under $10. The illegals not paying taxes is what really bothers me. More so because the income tax was origionally meant to be applied to coorporations and foreigners.

I think it's the governments fault because most of the immigrants pay taxes without having a sin number. How is that possible? As long as the government gets more money they won't say or do a thing.

So true. Perhaps having the illegals sent back, allowing them to enter legally would increase the minimum wage.
I have seen many fake ss cards, many having been used to file a death claim. I too have wondered where all of this money that is collected goes to...........it goes to people that come to this country

Americans WOULD do the work the illegals are doing now -- but
the greedy business owners would have to cough up more $$$ for salaries and they would have to match taxes and provide insurance -- and they would have to provide safer working environments. There are a ton of illegals using fake SS cards - employers take taxes out of their paychecks based on the fake number --- where do you think this money goes? To the government -- what does the government do with all of this "gravy"?
