Talion - kill or be killed ...
that's any easy decision. you decided it would be better to kill than be killed. This is just a silly karate tournament, I don't think I'll be in a life or death situation, so I really can't summon the anger required to be successful in this competition.

In the reckless days of my youth when my circle of friends contained a number of less than savory characters, I found myself in more than one situation where I had to make the ultimate decision: do I kill this guy or do I let him kill me? Each time, I chose the former. Fortunately, the situations resolved themselves before I ever had to act, but the thought that I made the decisions so easily still bothers me. At the time, I considered what would come next, such as potential witnesses, what to do with the body, etc. so this wasn't a crazed fit of anger. All the while I remained calm, cool, and collected. This bothers me even more.

Always wanted to try karate ....
Kickboxing was the decision however ..... I may check things out though ....Grrrrr :)
