I think it takes a unique person:
To love people so deeply and so completely that even if they are not biological, there is still the strong connection of love.
I truly do not understand the soul that is so selfish it can not love. I don't understand those who can not look past their own selfish desires and see the needs and broken hears from those around us. I am like you. There are so many people that I would do anything I could for, and quite a few that I would willingly die for.
You obviously have a special gift and you make the world a little brighter for being in it! (and I don't mean that as empty flattery)
