Muser,
I can only read the first paragraph of these two most intriguing posts. Autograph them, make a copy, enclose a bill and get it on the e-express soon, so I can have the first shot at the first edition. You do write so well. I know I am going to love Aunt Rachael Rae. I got some of her genes over in my pool when it comes to cutting to the chase. Miss this place, but not able to return yet.

Ca88andra...I suppose each of us must cope the best way we can...I had no
idea anyone would get so bent out of shape over my taking a few photos of my deceased mother...Thank you for reading...and understanding.

Mason...I am just overwhelmed with your comment. I am rarely at a loss for
words...but this comment leaves me speechless...and humbled. Thank you, Mason... Truthfully, when I read a comment like this one...I guess I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up the writing...I'm afraid my Muse will fly away, and I along with everyone else will discover I was only a transcriber for her...

This reminded me of my mother, her death and her funeral. I took photos of her in her casket with my phone, in order to show my boys. It wasn't too long ago I deleted those photos, they had served their purpose. I too want to be cremated. Lovely post.

Muser

You are so very talented at this creative writing business that I have to ask myself what the heck the likes of me is even doing here.

This was so well done, entertaining, that I have sat up now and it is 2;00am just to be able to finish reading it.

...your comments remind me of Thomas Wolfe and his
epic autobiagrahical novel YOU CAN'T GO HOME AGAIN (which some of his family wasn't to happy about)...  and I aslo think you're just as good as him.. especially with your detail...

What a great read for a beautiful morning.   I am feeling very nostalgic today for several reasons and this fit my mood wonderfully well.   I've been thinking about writing a post this morning, but my heart is just too full to put my thoughts into words.

I got to the beginning of the story and decided that to enjoy this, I need to make me a pot of coffee first to have a cup while I read.   I will be back.  So happy you are here today.
