My mom just had a birthday and it was a lovely day. The oncologist gave her 3-4 weeks maximum 6 weeks ago ... There have been a few real nice days. With every good day there are many dark ones. Thanks for asking. I am doing my best to make our last hours/days/weeks together special...

I recently found a piece of driftwood while walking a beach and brought it home to treasure and enjoy. It is shaped like a curious little sailboat ready to explore the wonders it might find. This chunk of driftwood can't really do that, but - going beyond your troubles - you can.
