Jazwolf, this is amazing that a freelance writer had managed to

do so many of his jobs on a malfunctional laptop (yes..."malfunctional" is a bit exaggerating... just the CD drive and rechargeable battery...I know" has finally got the first (or not the first?) taste of working with a smooth-running laptop.

Brettnik--- Don't think that any computer will last that longer. Sooner or

later, I'll have to step through the looking glass again into the surreal world of computer technology for a new one. I plan to rely on the kindness of strangers.

are ignorant, when you really are not, is something worse than ignorant. Man, do I miss the good ol' days when you could kick a typewriter and it would start working again.
