Una--- Don't know what really happened to the rats. When I came
home from school one day, my mother told me that my father had turned them loose "at the dump." As a child, I believed that. As an adult, I do not.

Haha! Your mother can never cope with your pets (rats or bird) "set free" from the cages.
I am curious about how the rats end up now.
