I think it is very cool that such texts for found.  It may help to shaken up  some  ingrained beliefs and offer new perspectives.

And there you have it, MG. Thanks for the info. It always amazes me that
people take for fact a group of books of proverbs, parables, stories, dreams, prophecies, and superstitious myth.  And not even the complete works, as you've well noted.

..yes..
..in my research I have found that the Bible.. the final word of God... has been translated (always losing a bit here and there) and edited no less than thirteen times since 13th century alone... I have a two inch book of THE LOST BOOKS OF THE BIBLE...  In the 1920's G.I.Gurdjieff, a remarkable mystic, stated as fact that Judus was the most trusted desciple of all and that he was told by Jesus when and where to turn him in, so that they would have time to complete certain esoteric ceremonies that would enable them to stay in contact with his astral body... and now finally the proof has been found, or at least part of it.

It's always been about control, MountainClimber. I'm sure Jesus was a
pretty decent individual, by anyone's standards, including his contemporaries.  But those gospels were all written a couple hundred years after his death.  None have been proven to have been written at the time of Jesus or even within a decade or two after his death.  I would agree that those manuscripts incorporated plenty of "they know not what the write".  As with any good story, the telling only gets better with age...

Saul Relative -- Sadly, little do we know today -- As
Jesus said then, he probably would say today, "Father forgive them they know not what they write!"
