Thanks for a great post. It makes me think about some of the things we tend to do, even if subconsciously. I remember that was a common occurrence in my high school/college days, and I kind of had the same idea about why it was that way, as you cited from the author of this book. Thanks. Maybe I'll get a chance to check it out, and let you know more of my thoughts on it. :)

That pretty well sums it up.............
And it is main flaw of this bogus bill.....it's not intended to solve anything. What it does do is that it allows those supporting to go back home for the fall elections and proclaim......to Hispanic voters..."see what I fought to get for your brothers and sisters!" For those opposing the bill....they can go home and beat their chests and point out...."I fought the hard fight on this issue! We were able to get real teeth in the law this time!" This in an attempt to placate their base..........
But here's the kicker...the House will not give in to the amnesty portions and the Bill never get's out of Conference...................
And the tsunami across our border will continue................
