Brettnik: I think we all have stories like that...

secret thoughts of "what if."

They are quite haunting...and they never really leave, do that?

Brettnik,
Could be.

Brettnik,
Great insight in the last line, isn't it amazing how familiar faces turn up?

Sannhet
When I get the two separate stories fleshed out, I'll post them!  Thanks for the encouragement!

Brettnik -
Great stuff! I want to read more! And I know there is more this time because of the other comments.

That's so weird...I actually thought about the fact that there are two stories as I wrote it.  I have enough developmental material for both stories to be longer and more fleshed out.  There's much more to the bully story and to the love story.  I will revisit them and send them to you when I finish!  Thanks!

Brettnik--- Great story. Stories, actually, If I may be so bold, you have
two distinct stories here. (And two posts!) Impact of the latter one (John) could be greatly enhanced by starting with entrance into the garage. Wonderful ending. Of course, all of this is not to say that what you have is not good as is. It is. I like your work and just wanted to give you something to think about.

I love the line, "Love that's based on imagination more than understanding."  Beautiful!

This story stirrs my childhood memory.

Love in its purest form. Love that comes and goes easy. Love that's based on imagination more than understanding. I miss childhood love!

This is a story I wish I were able to write!
