CD, I resoect your putting your criticism where it belongs.
The Federal government has the responsibility to protect the borders, they haven't done it because it is hard to do, and expensive, and politically unappealing. So now they want to pass the buck on to us.

The polls were taken among the young people in the schools in CA............
Once again.....I am all for immigration...it's what has made us great.........I am criticizing "Illegal" immigration.....and that is all!

This is a nice tactic..
No one is talking about anyone's color........I am talking specifically about organizations and groups making Anti-American, Racist remarks themselves.......you saw the signs from the demonstrations......if anyone is racist here it's the militant Mexican groups demanding their "land" back.
You choose also to ignore the word "illegal"....I don't care if they are from Canada, France, Spain or Mexico. People who go through the channels instead of slipping across in the dead of night....are "legal" immigrants and are contributing to our society...They start up and run their own businesses, make sure their children learn English and get an good education and are proud to be Americans. That is who you are referring to when you say immigrants.........
The polls show that the vast majority of the illegals...have no desire to become American....they're here for the money, period.....and are encouraged by their own government to come......given help to come........
I welcome all "Legal" immigrants to America......it's the illegals that I have a problem with.........
