Passion--- Didn't notice any FEMA folks around here, but saw lots of
claims adjusters from the insurance companies. Most of the damage here, I suspect, was minor compared to those communities hit by tornadoes. But it certainly was spectacular.

Wow! I was just reading this article about those storms-

23 Dead over Weekend--

Being gone from your home over the weekend might have saved your life. During tornadoes, all that debris becomes many dangerous missiles that can easily kill you as you see from the story above.

Don't know exactly which state you're in, but I'll be coming to one of those 8 states within the next 2 weeks to inspect homes for FEMA. The damage assesment teams will move into your area today along with the Red Cross.

Also, many truck-loads of utility workers and debris haulers. It's a din of activity in those hard hit areas over the next few weeks.

Glad you're okay. Be sure to call the 1-800-621-FEMA number as soon as your local TV stations tell you that you've received a federal declaration. FEMA will also cover damage to autos. If your power is out, they will re-imburse you for a generator.
