I can't say I actually ever have writer's block

however

I do have block's with other things and sometimes I have to get away from it beofre I can see it clearly

When working on self-generated writing projects, I find that

any writing blocks I encounter tend to go away if I let myself forget about working on the piece for a while. But when working on something for a specific publisher, and for which there is a deadline, then my old military discipline kicks in and I produce whether or not I'm inspired.

BA--- For me, it just depends. If I have a deadline, I push. If not, I take
a walk. Most importantly, though, I view writer's block as little more than an excuse not to write. And there's nothing some writers treasure more than excuses.
