Kingmi - wouldn't it have been better ...
to have a competent FBI and CIA PREVENT a terrorist attack here rather than going into their backyard and starting a sh*tstorm? They are used to fighting, amongst themselves, amongst others, and have been at war for about four DECADES. To say we brought them out into the open is a joke. The terrorists now have a real life training laboratory on how to conduct urban warfare, and our military is the practice target.
Sad that the party who uses scare tactics resorts to dire predictions of what will happen if the electorate expresses dissatisfaction with the party in power.

Do you really think that the insurgents in Iraq are the same guys who would be planning the next attack against the U.S., so this is getting them out in the open to defeat them? I think every single incursion into their sovereign lands will create thousands more insurgents. They have an unlimited supply and we can help to create as many as we wish. Next stop, Iran!!!

If Republicans lose control of Congress this year, the Democratic majority will surely bring Bush down, just as they did Richard Nixon. John Conyers will head up the House Judiciary Committee. I predict that impeachment proceedings will begin before the next year is half gone and they will attempt to drum him out of office. They don't give a damn for the country!

It seems that Liberals think that being disliked is an impeachable offense. Fortunately, the laws of this country don't work that way. Impeachment requires the same basic procedures as any legal charges. I really tire of hearing people say that Bush should be impeached when they have no case except for the fact that they are liberals and dislike conservatives.
I can only hope that the majority in this country keeps its senses about it, and that our leaders don't become puppets to fools.
