Dennison, you can quote statistics up the ying yang. Vinnateri
came through in the clutch more than any other placekicker, three superbowls,  numerous play-off games and countless regular season games.  You are free to say or think what you will, Vineteri's clutch performances are without peer.

Slycy...You Can THINK All You Like...

but statistics don't lie, and Vinatieri isn't even close to the all-time great place kicker. Not even close!

Here's a list of all the truly great placekickers he'd have to surpass to get anywhere close to the top:

I beg to differ with you dennison, with all due
respect to those kickers, I think Veneteri has done more than any of them.    That's just my opinion.

The Greatest Of All Time?

Sorry, but that's an incredible stretch!

When I think of Gary Anderson, Jan Stenerud, Tom Dempsey, and George Blanda...I'm not so convinced of Viniteri's "Greatest of all Time" status.
