It's funny, reading the comments below.....the political paradigms so strongly affect how people view what they are listening to......just as many people would argue that Fox is the only network that remotely comes close to being balanced and that O'Reilly is merely doing his own opinions.  I think they are all slanted, just as all forms of media are.  The only news program I will usually watch is the Lehr Newshour, where they will take enough time to interview people for both sides of the question and let me make up my own mind from what I hear with my own ears so that I don't have to depend on some filtered information coming through some talking head or edited news article....otherwise, I trust nothing not in its full....and I do mean full, and original format......from any.....and I mean any, source.  Now, to your question....it is one of the great shames of our country, in my opinion, that there seems to be so little respect for the office of the President of the United States....and it is a detriment to us in ways that many cannot begin to imagine as they go about their blatherings.  Free speech and opinions are fine....disagreeing with the policies of President Bush is fine....the hostility and disrespect this man has had to endure....especially in light of what he has had to face in his time in office - in my opinion, more than any president I can think of - is absolutely unforgivable of any American.  I am ashamed of many of my fellow countrymen, completely ashamed....and fearful of what they are doing....more fearful than anything that President Bush may be doing....and they won't begin to understand that.  I fear they have lost something and don't even know it.....he's a scapegoat for a lot of ills....and the attitude showing in their disrespect does nothing but feed those ills.  It is absolutely sickening to many of us.....and, again, they won't understand; they'll think I'm just dissing them for disagreeing with the President's policies....and that's not it at all.  I think you get it.  Sorry, didn't mean to make a post of this.....it's just been bothering me for a long time, and the title of your post broke the dam.......

Kevin - I see biases from individuals, and leanings from various networks..
... but if people would gather their news from a variety of sources as they should, the truth is apparent, and biases merely look vapid and self-serving rather than valid and "right". The only station I won't watch is Fox as they are too far to the right, too much spin, and have whack-jobs such as Bill O'Reilly allowed to spew pure garbage without reigning him in.

Maybe you would feel more comfortable ...
watching Fox News's "fair and balanced" reporting.

This should be no surprise . . .
. . . after he called them on their biased, imbalanced so-called reporting of the war yesterday. I guess they've been having multiple conniptions ever since.

The liberals in the United States will stop at nothing. They have no
respect for our great land in general. All they care about is getting back in power; at all costs.

DisabledKevinThinks...With few exceptions, U.S. media are far from balanced or objective. This, indeed, is the sad truth!
