Why Mason, I do declare, you have made me blush! I am so pleased that
you like my Southern Stories and my Southern style. It doesn't require a lot of extra time to use good manners, and they go a long way in making situations...better. I really cannot abide rude behavior! Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks, Dennison! I'm working hard! I have pulled out some posts I'm trying
to finish. The first several paragraphs came easily...tying them all together in a cohesive manner is a challenge. I'm determined.

anthony #1, I think the antibiotic I'm taking is doing something to my...
brain! Two more to go! I've just been feeling...irritable! When I get really irritable...well, let's just say my usual genteel language is adversely affected! I do have that West Texas gene from my Daddy...thanks for reading, and for the little "tweak"! I've decided I like the idea of a personal delivery rather than using the mail.

I would say you're doing a fine job, Whacky! Keep up the good work!

Thanks FLIGHT! You are so right about silence being golden. It seems often
that there are those with nothing to say...but that doesn't seem to stop stop them from trying!

angelofinspirtion...I can relate. I can just feel those times coming on...!

...you are a treasure, dear Lady...
...if I were to step up to your porch to speak with you, my hat would already be in my hands... simply because that's the way things are done... you bring to life a by gone and much missed era... of manners and polite behavior... thank you, Ms Muser.. M

Muser...

You've posted a vituoso composition here where your thoughts flowed seamlessly from paragraph to paragraph, and each new thought neatly tied into your previous thought.

Great work! Easy to read and distinctly lucid. Way to go!

Do it again.

Justso, I am laughing so hard right now! I Had an idea...you could do a
stand up comedy routine on Blogit every night. It would be S.R.O. every night!

Muser I love you as you. I tried to write fiction and it came out like a
board meeting where you had caught the CFO's hand in the cookie jar and didn't want to chop off his hand in public. We do what we can and in my case try what I can't. Be blessed dear lady.

I'll sure try! To be nice that is.

gpsyredhead, I missed out on the redhair temperment mystique that you
are so fortunate to possess; I can't tell you how many times you have made me laugh...so I wouldn't cry....that is superior writing! Justso, you know it thrills me that you have become my great friend, and mentor in many ways. I appreciate so much that you feel you can be so honest with me...I wouldn't have it any other way! I wish I had gotten as much of that imprudent gene you were lucky enough to get, Justsouno. Both you and gypsyredhead together just about make up Ouiser Beaudreaux, one of my all time favorite characters from "Steel Magnolias" I would love to be more like Ouiser; I think opposites do attract, and I just love you both! I have been thinking of late that I should make some forays into the realm of "Reality" Blogging; I have mostly written and posted my ficticious stories here on Blogit.com. I have posted some of my poetry, and on occasion I have
offered my two cents worth in my Blog "MY TWO CENTS WORTH IS BURNING A HOLE IN MY POCKET". That Blog is the closest one in which I've come to letting it all hang out...as much as I can do that. I depend on you to "do" outrageous, Gypsy...because I don't always do a very good job of it. And Justsouno, I admire your courage and your willingness and your ability to speak out about things that trouble me. I love your fiery passion...I could use a good dose of it...but I have to be me in expressing myself. I'm working on it darlin'...stay tuned...

Muser, I do so admire you. You and I had similar mothers; however, I
had an extra gene of some sort that did not listen well enough to be silent in as many instances as is prudent. I love you and your writing, but this is one time I have to disagree with you, but only about the title. I am truly concerned about our world and where it is right now. The people who are trashing the office of the president of the US. The people who are actually being traitors. The people who don't have a real, valid thought about anything but are following the leaders... Silently people are watching Islam destroy the entire world. They Islam) are committing murder, rape and pillage all over the world daily and people are actually afraid to say anything about it. Some say it makes no difference. I believe those who are not yet totally deceived may be drawn back into reality if we do speak out. I have to pinch my self to see if I am still alive at some of the things said here on Blogit about this country that feeds them--some of those saying it are literally being fed and housed off the US taxpayer and trashing the country. I can't keep silent. I admire your courage, your writing skills and I would greatly admire your out spokeness about what you know is wrong. Be blessed.

I try to keep it in mind as well...
But I also learned a long time ago that sometimes you have to tell the truth even when it isn't nice. So, I just use my judgement. We know you're a sweetie though!!!

Sometimes silence is golden. Or a change of subject can be golden, too. But, as you say - not always easy. Great post!!
