Sounds like your uncle-in-law has lead a life full of accomplishments.  That's really nice, too.  I admire stories about people who just want to be left to tend to the rest of their lives, enjoy themselves, and die in peace, without hassle from doctors, and they still have the spunk to speak up about it.  We should all hope to be so spunky and direct at 90, if we would live to 90.  Thanks for the story.   :)

 WTF? If he's 90, let him eat, drink or smoke whatever he wants.  That's scary news about the number of procedures in the last month of a patient's life.  They're DYING, leave them some dignity.
