Flight ..
is a magnificent look at a magnified spot inside an arteriole of a heart in love, with that spot bathing in timelessness, but still experiencing the blessing of continuity. Does it matter, then, what kind of migrants the flock of birds is? Well, perhaps "Seagulls" is more significant, but the focus is on the gush or flow in the veins, and on the turbulence the hasty flipping wings make in the stream of sensation. Ahh... how creative love can be! To me, the poem poses an act of arteriogr'aphy - radiological examination of arteries following direct injection of a contrast medium
I know I make life miserable by such complex look at a straightforward line of poetry! But honestly, if I don't go that deep in reading a poetic description, I do not enjoy it!
