AC,
I can appreciate as much as anybody the need for change. I so admire this adventure you're on. I'm sure you'll gain so much more from it than you would have being unhappy working with your dad. You're among the many to discover that "all money ain't good money". At least you have the courage to do something about it. BTW, I travel for a living, and that tiny plane looks much more comfortable than some of the small ones I've been on. At least it has a toilet... :)
Hopefully, whatever you end up doing next will bring you some happiness. Keep us posted...

Hey there AC
Boy, those seats look comfy enough for ME to be willing to fly... and I avoid that as much as possible due to all of the things you have been describing. You are one gutsy chick to be doing what you are.

AC_Allyn,
I thought of Bette Davis in "All About Eve", her line, "Fasten your seatbelts it's going to be a bumpy ride", when I read your line about the private jet.

I'm not only giving free advice, I'm coming to your home ...
First of all, adult acne is common. I used to see more women in their 20s and 30s than I saw children when I was in practice.
So, what's you goal in treating your skin. Well, look what happened with a skin peel. It removed the outside layer of your skin and with it, all the junk plugging your pores. That junk includes all the dead skin cells, oil and debri you skin produces plus the oils, lotions and cosmetics you apply every day. See where I'm going here? I'm gonna' have to tell you something you don't want to hear. You got to stop with the oils, lotions, creams, makeup, etc. I don't care what they tell you it does for your skin, it makes you break out.
Now how can you repeat the short term effect of a chemical peel and make it long term. The first lesson is to take my advice and do it every day, forever. NOT just when you feel like. NOT until it gets better. EVERYDAY, FOREVER. It's like dieting. You lose a few pounds and make excuses for slipping. It just doesn't work.
Now, this final part must be used carefully and adjusted to fit you skin, as you tolerate it. Wash your skin, twice a day, gently with soap and, if you tolerate it, with a mild abrasive pad or brush. Apply a mild astringent followed by a 2 to 5% benzyl peroxide solution. Over this you can wear a oil free cosmetic. As you start this regimen you'll find your skin will get too dry and may even peel a bit. Back off and go litely until you adapt to the routine. Eventually your find you tolerate it.
Don't let an occasional zit discourage you. You have many plugged pores ready to fire up and they won't all disappear at once. You are working toward the long term future.

You'll be fine. Even if you decide you made a mistake
And want to go home, you can do that...
Your post reminds me of the one I wrote this morning....I'm having all these thoughts too-Am I doing the right thing? What were my reasons for doing this to start with?
It's scary but we're moving forward.
