I was just sitting here, thinking, "I missed my chance to read more Damon Leigh", and in your case, I'm glad  it's a trick, because although I'm usually over there gabbing in "New Comments" and writing in my journal, I do notice that there are actual writers who know how to construct essays and well-thought-out critical pieces on serious subjects. 

So, in the interests of actually being able to read serious subjects when I feel like it, I'm glad you're only going for a while.
