AC_Allyn,
I'm leery of using "science" to explain something as idiosyncratic as love. Yes, I have wacky brain chemistry, too, but I never had butterflies with Michael, just a calm happiness. I'm not saying that's what you should be looking for, cause you're "you", but people are not cottage cheese.
I think a lot of it has to do with focus and expectations. Some wiseguy wrote "American women expect a perfection in their husbands that English women only expect in their butlers".

Long Distance Love.
Dear AC... Long distance love has limitations, I cannot say expiration. Distance will always be like memories even if you can see each other on the computer screen everyday. The touch of one's true love has no substitute. I hope you would take my words as my opinion not as an advice.
Anyway, I have posted a new blog entitled 'Scratching inside the Cold Coffin.
It is YAKKY at the start but I assure you it has a good ending.
regards..
Prof.

It is scary...I don't think I was born with "love molecules." (unless they are severely defective.)

It's astonishing to me how many people (continue to) refuse to accept the proven fact ...
that nearly everything that makes us "human" ("love", "hate", "envy", etc) is actually biologically and chemically ingrained. (Not unlike, mindless automatons.)
Although, I guess when you stop and think about it, that is kinda scary.
I see why people don't want to hear about it!

An expiration date on love? That explains it!
I always wondered why I had such a short "shelf life" when it came to love.....!
