on a very scary

ER visit, the nurse in charge of applying my girlfriend's IV didn't do a very good job, and my girlfriend wound up with a enormous, dark, almost black bruise on her arm that took a few months to heal.

I am very forceful and direct when giving blood

I learned it from my mom.

First I say... you only get one stick and my veins roll (move out of the way)

then I say, get what you need cause you aren't getting any more.

This usually scares them enough that they get the pediactric needle and take it from the back of my hand which is the surest way to get it from me.

Drink LOTS of fluids and make sure they leave the tourniquet on long enough
