Nan--- Well, I didn't see him spit. But then we didn't offer him any

chewing tobacco either. Seriously, I don't think so. He looked much like our common toads, only MUCH, MUCH bigger. I put a ball cap on one of them. Unfortunately, that photo is not digitalized.
