MainePreacher, no problem, we learn from each other as we share
our convictions and are tolerant of those who might disagree!

Good, Mountain Climber
If you have followed me you know I seldom inject myself into the chaotic and unresolvable political scene.  I do so now only because I feel as you do, I believe.

From a moral standpoint I would rather have most any conservative in power than a liberal.  And it is from this moral view that I cast my approval for President Bush for a second term.

However, I am deeply opposed to our war in Iraq for many reasons.  Personally I don't know why so many Christians agree with that "politically motivated" war.  It violates both Jesus' teaching and Biblical Christianity!

You mentioned Bush's courage for entering such dangerous zones.  It is my strong opinion that some of the dangererous zones were made so through our administration's "democratic dream" and foreign policy.   "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."
  Prov 14:12

Well, thanks for giving way to this personal diatribe.  I'll try to refrain from it becoming a habit.  Thanks and God Bless.....

Mountain
There was never any doubt in my mind about his courage. I just wish he wouldn't go into the hostile zones, but he is the President and can go anywhere he wants. I just worry about him! Good post my friend!
