The thing that galls me about a guy like Murtha is he voted to give the President the authority to go to war and now he wants to whine and cry. I can't stand people like that. I have a few Republicans on my list also who did this.

I can't beleive he calls himself an American.. However he has the right to. I am sure the troops don't feel any great compassion for the old coot!

I think with over 2,000 it is more then a few but I guess when they kill one or two soldiers or marines a day it is different then killing lets say 25 a day. And if a 25 to 50 Iraqis die each day it is better then any Americans getting killed here.
The impression I get from you is this, "thank God they are killing them in Iraq and Afghanistan as long as they are not killing us here".
And if "they" are coming from "all over the world" as you say then we are not doing a very good job in fighting the war on terror.
We are heading into year FOUR of a poorly prepared war, a war that I once supported, and a poorly planned post war, with no idea how long we will be there and how much it will cost and how many more will die in which is now a sectarian war.
Yeah maybe Murtha is a little off at times but he is entitled to his opinion just like Tennessee Republican Representative John J. Duncan Jr., and Maryland Republican Representative Wayne T. Gilchrest, and Sen. Chuck Hagel, a Nebraska Republican.
I guess your mindset is if you don’t support Bush and the war then the person is an idiot and should move out of the country.
Take the pom poms from in front of your eyes and look at the whole picture.
