Damon, one point in defense of Burly,

your "About Me" page says "Anarchist" next to the "Political Affiliation" category.

And you're right that the common understanding of anarchist is inaccurate. Of course, part of the problem may be that anarchism is poorly defined even by its adherents, who by nature might resist the organization and authority structure that is most conducive to the formation of singular definitions in the first place. Anarchists may be too unorganized and individualistic to define their own philosophy!

Burly...
...I've already said I'm no big fan of a lot of what is going on in the UK right now.

I'm not sure what makes you think I'm an anarchist, though if you research (remember that term?) the word, you'll find that the common understanding of it is, in fact, deeply flawed.

I also wonder where you get "American hater" from. Two of my best ever holidays were spent in America, with American friends, riding a big American motorcycle for over 4,000 miles per trip - the first through Arizona, Nevada and southern California, the second through the mid-west to get to the 100th Harley Davidson birthday bash.

I don't hate Americans at all. I don't hate America, either. What I DO hate is the current American regime which, if you were able to take an external view, you would see getting increasingly fascist as it gets more and more unpopular. I hate the corruption, the nepotism, the greed, the blindness, the complete disregard for international law and for human rights.

That's what I hate.

And, as I've also pointed out before, you, as an American, can not expect me to stay out of your affairs when America singularly refuses to stay out of everyone elses affairs. The way America is conducting herself on the international stage is having a direct and negative effect on me, my family, my nation, and there a`re many millions of others who can say the same thing.

American affairs are our affairs. You'll just have to get used to the fact.

Thanks for reading.

PS When I see you resorting to name-calling, I can only assume that you know you're back is up against the wall, and you're backing a failing regime with increasingly unsustainable policies.
 It's a bit sad, really.

Does this mean Saddam is pleading guilty?
Or is he admitting responsibility but defending his actions?

Damonleigh
Why don't you look over your shoulder at what is happening in your own country if you think we're so bad. You've been invaded by radical Muslims! You've had your subway blown up! I see by your profile that you are an anarchist and that fits perfectly. You are an angry American hater who thinks your world is perfect and ours is flawed! Look at yourself you angry bastard! Stay out of our affairs!
