I think the majority of people NEED
to see through those rose-tinted glasses to get by in life. If they saw things constantly in a "realistic" view, it would in fact be harder for them than to wait out that time. If they need to see the cup as half-full, you should not feel belittled for your view that it is half empty. You are both right, but your personalities are different.
