Blanche
I'll make sure it is a summertime book signing, Blanche, if I ever have one.

JohnMcNab,
If I ever happen to go to one of your book signings, be sure and let me know which road NOT to take, since it has a history of traffic pileups!

DrJPT
Apparently dark chocolate is also good for the heart, DrJPT.   I wonder if it matters whether it's free or not?   From what I've read, a book in Canada needs to sell only 5,000 to be a best seller. I don't think my friend's book will arrive at that figure.

I Have Not Attended, Yet Have Been Invited
I did not like the title or concept in a book of a friend and did not attend.  Some say it went well, yet it has not made it on the best seller's list!!  If something is of high interest, I would consider.  I am glad that you had the free wine!!  It is good for the heart too! lol!!

John
I'll be sure to invite you to my book signing and the wine will most definately be free.  Of course, I'll have to write a book first.  Hopefully,  you'll write a piece about my party as charming as this one is.

Be well,
-smartdog

Anthony
Or lineups as they call them in the USA, Anthony, which I think is a very odd, made up word.

tigerprincess
That was the only book signing I've ever been at, tigerprincess, so I don't know what the proper form is - but I did enjoy the free wine.

Whacky
I've been at some art exhibitions like that, Whacky, and I've never been at a signing like this either.

I've never heard of private book signings (then again I only know one person who's ever had a book published, and I wasn't even aware at the time he had published it).
