Hahaha! A wise child Mer!!
There was a joke with my girls and the people who looked after me when I was 'sick' last year.  There was some weird routine to giving me my meds.  Apparently I had to have a spoonful of jello, the pills, 2 Ritz crackers, more jello and then water.  My 9-year old stepdaughter who was here during some bad times used to ask ever week on the phone from England "Does Ginnie still need her crackers?"  Me and Emily would get along well!  Hehe!

Omni
Emily has actually been extremely healthy - so for her to be this sick for this long is stunning to me. But the Doctor said not to worry - as long as she is coping with the infection well we won't give her the antibiotics until we have too (she is lousy at taking medicine!)

Poor Emily...
...poor Mommy too!  Hope you're stocked up on Ritz...and the no-name ones are yucky...stick to Ritz...I'll bet Emily could tell the difference!  Haha!

Not to depress you or anything
but my daughter basically had ear and sinus infections from the day she was born until she was around 7. We used to buy some antibiotic that tasted like liquid bubblegum but the gallon.  The optimistic piec of this is that she is now going on 21 and is very healthy including her ears and nose (not to mention the fact that she is the most beautiful, smart, charming young woman that God ever made).
