The money isn't great
but the people are. That is why I stay. I have only made $400.00 in three years myself. Oh well, that is why I keep my real jobs.

The other day my Uncle asked me if I was gainfully employed and I said yes. Making any money writing should count as gainful... even just a few bucks! I hear ya though- and have been wondering, too, about looking for a more lucrative path. I enjoy the friends and fun here so much- the entertainment value for me is really good!

Hi there! Your title caught my eye. I have only been here for maybe two weeks, so I am not experienced enough to give out advice to help you. I have been on other blogs though and they were all free, you get nothing . A big fat O. So I guess I can count my blessings for finding this blog site. Yes it would be nice if someone came on to read our work, and decided to take a risk on us so we could make some real money, but who know's , stranger things have happened. I really hope you decide to stay, I look forward to reading your work, you must get some satisfaction out of that, knowing people are reading your work. I think it is great, your writing that is. Hope you stay around so we can visit again. Have a great weekend.

well I did get a trip to Canada out of the deal
Met Wiley on the blog, blogged for over a year, and went to see him in Canada. My husband and I had such a great time. Then Wiley came here to California.

I'm going on 2 1/2 years and well sheesh...I often wonder if the money is worth it meself... I will say that I thoroughly enjoy a lot of the people here. So in that respect the dues are worth it. But as for being paid to write, my score is even less than yours...
