Michael Moore had these connections all clearly laid out in his filck, FAHRENHEIT 911. It was one of the most popular documentaries of all time. Many Americans refused to believe it. The Saudi's in bed with the Bushies, the role of the Carlyle Group...he spelled it all out. Get it on DVD and look again. You are pointing out these same issues.
These are truely evil people and they have destroyed the America we once knew.

Hi glennb...
...good to see you here.
You raise some interesting questions - have you ever cruised into my 9/11 blog? You might find some more interesting questions there.
All about the money. Thnat does seem to be the nub of it - I have an post brewing today on the Cheney millions.
But consider this. The bin Ladens and the Bush's are big players in the Carlyle Group, who have benefited hugely from this phoney 'war on terror'. The Bush's are big oil players - ditto. Cheney is making money still from Halliburton - ditto. It all adds up to a rather unpleasant picture, don't you think?
Thanks for reading.

DamonLeigh,
Glad I stopped by! There is a long way to go before we have "real" change here! Americans are again looking at the wrong part of the elephant in the room! I am certain it is all "about the money"! Throwing the threat of "terrorism" into the mix is political pandering and hyper xenophobia! All of the "checks and balances" of American government have proven ineffective in conquering the greed of corrupt bureaucrats.
Was 9/11 really a terrorist act? Or an ochastrated act that ignored the warning signs and open planning. It is a strange climate in America! The so called "war on terror" has been very profitable for high level and well positioned bureaucrats! Bin Laden (that name again) and terrorism made the Presidency of George Bush!

Well, It...
...seems there are only two options.
1. Block the sale of P&O to DPW (unlikely, as I think the deal is too far gone and, besides, it's a UK company being bought by a UAE company, neither of which are US protectorates) or...
2. Cancel the contracts and assign port control to another company.
Thanks for reading.

DamonLeigh, the more we know the better off we will be.
This is truly one that the people of America must win not just the Bush Ad.
