Jane's thanks. I have no problem with the doctors ordering them I have a
problem with the advertising and the public asking for them. The cost then goes out the roof. Often there are more possible side effects than the cure promised. Thanks for reading.

I agree completely . . .
in spite of the fact that I order these meds routinely. In many ways these meds are the majority of what medicine has to offer, and what Americans have come to expect!
And you know what really gripes? They show these beautiful, gorgeous people in the TV ads taking these meds. Well of course everyone wants that same "shonufbottan" or whatever your drug was called, in the hopes that it will also make THEM as gorgeous.

I've felt this way for a while...
the FDA is not nearly strong (or independent) enough to legitimately regulate the drug companies.
Everything goes better with coke.
