Original I,

Well, I'm glad to hear that.  The comments seem to be more of a reader attraction than the actual posts, but I guess I can live with that.  They are a lot easier, and sometimes I think more enjoyable to write.  There is always something new, and that keeps one on their toes.

Come to think of it, maybe I should do a blog named Memorable Comments.  Hmmm.  I need to give that one some thought.  Thanks.

crimson,
Perhaps.  I'm not sure that matters.  To be concerned about being laughed at is something of an ego thing.  It circles round and round, making you question every laugh that you hear.  To give it great importance is to allow paranoia to enter your mind.  To struggle to determine whether it is ''with you or at you'' is much like a dog chasing its tail.  Round and round and round, until he falls on his ass.

Also depends on whether
people are laughing with you or at you.

Bomba,

Feel free to unbutton your pants when you come to my blogs.  I find it much easier to work that way when I sit at the computer.  Since I write that way, it probably is easier to read it that way.  Besides, I like to think about you reading my blogs that way.

Did you know that Bomba, in Spanish, is a pump?  Going from there, linguistically speaking, Bomberos are operators of pumps, which is to say pump men.  That is the current term for Firemen.  If you think of the old fire trucks, they were really nothing more than giant pumps on a trailer.  The pump men, los Bomberos, worked the pumps manually.  Thus we arrive at the modern term for firemen, Bomberos.

Just thought you might need to know that sometime.
