Writerofblight...

Your ad hominem attacks mean little to me.

Here's a test...

Guy bombs a building where 129 children die as a result.

Moral or immoral?

Gal shoots her weapon to kill someone who's defending their own homeland from an invading army.

Moral or immoral?

Leadership siphons more and more money from common citizens just to pay for more bloody bombings and more killing.

Moral or immoral?

Group retaliates against their enemy for the sake of revenge because they felt threatened by non-existent weapons.

Moral or immoral?

The green people kill the blue people.

Moral or immoral?

When you can define moral without using everything you've ever been conditioned to espouse then you might have a valid point. Until then, please stop insulting me.

Thanks for commenting, Dennison!

I will use your comment as evidence of your statement that "there is no such thing as a 'moral compass'." Just as there was no moral compass by which one could determine whether or not Hitler should have been resisted? May I presume that you also find fault with islamofacist terrorists who actually do rejoice in the slaughter of innocents?

It is sad indeed when people allow evil to flourish because they lack the moral compass - meaning acceptance of moral absolutes - to identify and resist it. Your implied tolerance (by silence) of unmitigated evil in the form of international terrorism and your willingness brand those who combat it as evil is proof that you have no moral compass.

How Sad.

How sad that our young people bring such enthusiasm to destroying another person's home, country and life just so they can assume the mantle of "moral compass." How sad that our young people actually fill their chests with pride because killing with 3,000 pound bombs has become so much like a video game to them where no "real" blood spills onto the streets below.

"It's just an X on a computer screen. There's never any collateral death from the bombs I drop. I'm damn proud to be a killer from America! As long as it's an "away game" then I have no problem with death and destruction. Hoooo-waahhh!"

Somebody please inform the genius that war is not an "away game." And while you're at it, please tell him that there is no such thing as a "moral compass."

How sad, indeed.
