i see all we who are in aggreement commented -- but i guess the conservatives who keep putting out the same old tired unsubstantiated  stuff on their posts didn't comment here -- didn't even try to offer a differing point of view

..that's an interesting additional titbit! I could definitely have weaved that in, too, had I known.

I'm not sure those progs get to the UK and,m even if they do, we don't own a TV. Sorry!

Very incisive post.

I'm sure the shooting is a coincidence, but it is too symbolically appropriate to ignore the connection.

On the Jon Stewart comedy show (heard of it? seen it? a "fake news" show), they played up the fact that the v.p. was hunting quail that had been raised in a pen and had no hope of escaping.

Now, until then I had not looked at it from the animal-rights angle, but that is mentionable because the hunting of defenseless creatures purely for sport was a deliberate evil being committed by the v.p. and his financial supporter friend whom he shot.

Stephen Colbert (on the Stewart show) said they were using these especially hapless quail because normal quail would have run away at the approach of the large vice presidential entourage. Colbert quipped, "They had to level the playing field."

Hey Damon, have you ever got a grip on reality and an organized style

of expression.

I honestly tredicted all of this and took a stand (to no avail ) on your border in the late winter of 2002, a year before your pretzel choking moron took you into this disaster.

It was called, "Deep reflections for peace stand" I still have photos and some of my arguments on this computer. Not a single person stood with me. They all laughed and ridiculed me. I gave up after 7 weeks of standing with a mirror on Sundays from noon till one.

It was a symbolic gesture asking the people of the USA to reflect more deeply on their present course of action (Unilateralism) and to encourage thinkers to input a different perspective.

That's one reason I refer to myself as the first free roaming Oracle of modern times.
