- Go to The personal is political. We see democracy in our families and we imbibe
Agreed.
What do we do now, though, that we are perhaps feeling more and more democratic at home while the outside world seems to be closing in around us? If Restrictive cultures will have a hard time changing their political systems because their homes are restrictive, too, how is it that we cannot figure out a way to stop our political system from closing in around us (especially around women) even as our homes are more and more democratically inclined? What to do?
On another note, thanks for your comment today on my blog. I guess I'm an open book, or computer file.
