I'm a strong believer in recycling...
It should be mandatory all over the globe. There are just too many of us producing way too much garbage each year. I wish our govt took it more seriously.

I can't stand all of the disposable products that there are now!
It really is sickening. Where do people think this stuff goes afterwards? That said, I have relaxed on some things myself due to the practical needs presented by health problems/fatigue.

Straightforward--- You are absoluely right, and I recycle everythng that it
possible to recycle. But many in the United States are so spoiled, so accustomed to not having to conserve, that we're a long, long way from being an enlightened nation regarding our limited natural resources.

Okay, PLEASE use NEITHER paper NOR plastic! Using paper also
results in the destruction of trees, not to mention the after affects of creating and treating the paper!  I reuse canvas bags whenever I shop. They hold more, are stronger, and create ABSOLUTELY no waste!

I try to use paper bags unless I have an immediate use for the plastic ones. Was reading that the plastic used for bottling water is becoming an environmental problem.
