I didn't know about Gabriel. I loved this post. It is so incredible that
there are people who can't, won't or don't care about their precious children. I work with women attempting to be mainstreamed after drugs, alcohol or whatever their problem. It is amazing how much they care when they begin to get back to some semblance of normalcy again. Many have lost their children and try so hard to get them back. Most who do become as good as they are able to. This is not true of all, but most. Great work you are doing.

here is the topper
In the after school program, a student told me she needed new water for her painting. I pointed to the sink and she said, "Oh that's your job."
What a little snot. Can you believe such disrespect?

Poet........I'm so happy about baby Gabriel! I babysat for a special ed child before, and I was in High School. Even though I was young, it was a great experience.

Thank you for sharing such wonderful news with all of us!
(What a day you've had!. Little wonder that you're exhausted. Would that all would take on challenges such as those you dealt with today.)
