Taps, you've got a very valid point.

Excellent perspective from one who has stepped over and joined the ranks of the retired.

Thanks!!

JanesOpinion
That is one thing that I really miss now that I am retired--the days off.   I know that sounds rediculous since I am off every day.   But that's just it.   I never have that delicious feeling of appreciating my days off from work after the long stressful hours of doing that kind of work.

Janes nice post. It is good to be alone with one's own being often.
ENJOY!

Yeah, Michigan's had a mild winter, too,

although the last few days the temp has taken a nose dive.

Looking forward to spring, but for your sake I hope you get that foot or more of snow!

Jane, the snow is here, pray that more comes, and sticks. It
has been so warm in Music City USA, that the snow will probably not stick!

Mountainclimber, shall I pray for snow???
Well, either way, I hope you have a good day!

JANE, IT IS SNOWING, and we may not have to go to school
tomorrow, that will give me a day off, one that I desperately need -- enjoy yours and remember us!

I know exactly what you mean. I feel that way on Friday nights.
