"There are no constraints!"

That sounds positive!

Valuable Lessons.  Yes I think that it is often about the audience not the actor!

I think it is important to cry.

I think it is important to feel you can - too!

Omni

I think perhaps the word 'sick' might be off putting

You know I think the writer just meant not aimed positively.

M.P.O.

That's a shame.  Perhaps it is time you did?

I try new stuff and maintain a stiff face if I fail.

Brisbane,
Some of the best lessons in my life have come from my failures. While a public failure can be difficult, sometimes it teaches valuable lessons to the onlookers as well...Thanks for sharing!

sick pride
is about me, I dont want anyone to see me being needy and ask for help.  That is why its hard for me to cry

I'm not sure if sick pride is always the reason
I think the reason people don't try new things is because they are afraid of failure.  Procrastination - which is similar - is often the result of someone being a perfectionist. If they feel they can't do a great job on something they avoid doing it all and that way they can't fail.   Just my opinion.

No. I never do anything "publicly"...

unless I feel fairly confident I can do it well.

Cause, if I didn't ... I'd never hear the end of it (from my brothers, friends and mother).
