I think this is a crock of . . . especially with AOL.
One would think they might lose money by doing this. After all, they already charge an arm and a leg for their internet services. I would think people would get irked and go to some other ISP rather than pay postage on top of what they already pay for AOL.

It sounds as if it is a wave of the future, doesn't it?
The trouble is that these email messages may still contain ads -- like junk email -- that you didn't want to recieve.
