I don't have any opinion on what the approach should be, but your
post made me laugh. I remember when I introduced my son to "big boy" underwear. Anytime someone came over, he'd strip down to jockeys only, then casually stroll around through the guests waiting for someone to comment. He was only 1+ and it was hysterical.
