Azur,

I had a friend that I let convince me that she was right about everything. In hindsight, I should have paid more attention to her favorite phrase, "I never argue unless I know I'm right", which I believe would be more accurately expressed as, "I never argue, unless I BELIEVE I'm right."  Huge difference.

It's usually characterized by prefacing "in my mind", or "in my world" or something like that.
