I'm a huge fan of the man in black, but i'm a little leery about going to see the flick. I keep thinking it's going to be some Oliver Stone like bullshit which tarnishes the real thing...

It's certainly one of the better...
musician biopics of recent years.
Once you've seen enough movies, you realize that all films ultimately follow one formula or another. Some just camouflage it better than others.
In that regard, "Walk the Line" is preferable to "Ray" (which it, obviously, mirrors somewhat).
There are two kinds of light -- the glow that illuminates, and the glare that obscures.
