I'm days late reading this, but I really enjoyed it. I love the license plate idea. Actually, everything here is good. I can remember as a child what a fountain pen felt like in my hand when writing on a spiral notebook as compared to a pencil on a Big Chief tablet. And, I felt so "adult" being allowed to fill the pen from my Dad's bottle of ink.
