Wow, you are prolific!
Yes, we need to live in the present moment -- move on with our lives and aid the victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita who need our support now.

jecruz - Absolutely. It impacted all of us to varying degrees, some...
... were devastated. But since this post was suggesting we move from the tragedy, which is a rather volitile suggestion, I admired the way it was couched, and thought his approach to a "tough sell" subject was very effective. - I was only addressing his writing, not the message.

It hurts some people!
9/11 is a significant day because it was unexpected and a lot of people were involved.

archiew - If you have a point to make, whisper. Generally speaking...
... the best way to have others listen, or to "sell" a point you are promoting, the quieter, intelligent approach is the one that succeeds. Test out the theory and see what happens. It may work for you.

Thanks again, blogflogger
Next time I am not so gentle, I will recall your kind words and perhaps rethink my wording to make it more humane in nature.

archiew - Not at all. I am not familiar with your blog and just...
.... came today when I saw your subject line. I thought your post was very heart-felt and while intelligent, it had a human-ness, a gentleness to it that is not frequently found in anything related to politics.

In other words, totally unlike me, eh?
