Would that humanity's darker side become infinitesimally small, Meringue

Humanity has many sides
on one there is this depraved couple, and on the other this woman who has the courage of conviction to follow this whole thing through....hats off to her, indeed!

I am guessing, Omni, that since we are talking about small-town Alabama,
the 911 dispatcher was connected with the Evergreen Police or the County Police or some such.  Or maybe a detail was lost in the story...

Great woman
I heard a little about this but I hadn't heard the details until your post.   Thanks.

Interesting detail though is why the 911 dispatcher would run a plate for someone who calls in and tell her it belonged to a Honda.  I haven't tried but I suspect that if I called 911 with that kind of story they would just refer me to the police and not be willing to tell me specifics of the car.  Don't get me wrong - I'm glad it happened since it helped to fuel her fire a little more and kept her digging.

Yeah, Straightforward, it is all too common and unfortunate that the
people who should protect and love us the most do the most to harm us.

I also want to say hats off to Dean!

Honestly I don't know how people can bring themselves to sexually abuse
children like this, and nowadays there are so many cases of incest as well - rape by a father of his own daughter

Oh, I am sure of it, wislon. They are either inept, corrupt, politically
motivated or non-motivated, hamstrung by the legal system, unwilling or a combination of any and/or all the aforementioned.  However, on the converse side, it is good to note that there are officers such as Brian Davis.

What do we pay the police for?
It seems to be the same all over the world.
