Good point, although the amount of money was not really the issue.
I guess the question could be rephrased as 'What amount of money would
it take to get you to eat something that you would never eat unless you
were paid a large amount of money.' And even there it gets a little
confusing and leaves some stuff out. You can up the price to whatever
you want, but ti did seems as though you understood the basic idea of
the question.
As for raw fish, even though I had just pointed out that Sushi does not
have to be raw fish, I have had Sushi that was raw fish and I had no
problem at all eating. Most fish in Sushi is smoked or cooked in some
mild way. But I have no problem with the idea of eating a raw fish. A
friend and I talked about swallowing a live goldfish for five bucks and
i said 'Sure' to it. My only requirement was that it gets washed down
before hand, so I am not getting any of the dirty aquarium water with
it, since that stuff is really nasty.
So if you have five bucks and a goldfish and want to see someone swallow it a live, get a hold me and we can set it up.

You do know that Sushi is not just raw fish right? Sushi is all about
the kind of rice being used and nothing at all to do with what is in
it. There are some Sushi that uses raw fish, but most do not.
I am loving the term 'Psycho-fact' and Sushi being raw fish is a very
well traveled psycho-fact. it is untrue for the most part, but due to
the commonly spread belief that all Sushi is raw fish, most people do
not know the truth about it. Go to a Sushi bar and try a veggie
Sushi. I have even seen a peanut butter and Jelly Sushi on a menu. My
wife hates seafood, and I have found non-seafood (No raw fish) Sushi
that she will eat.
So my guess is if you actually gave it a try you would find that Sushi
is not bad at all, unless you really, really dislike rice.

i'm thinkin'
i'm thinkin' raw fish. i don't care for fish as a rule although i eat it for a balanced diet. i think the problem with this question is that we're only going to get $100 for our efforts. these days that's not a lot of money and if the food in question is that repulsive, personally, i'd rather not eat the food than get the $100. i can make the $100 on my own. no, you're going to have to offer me more money than that!
